The usual direction of a fairly young band such as Signalflow is to overplay with the intent to impress the listener in a barrage of ego-driven fillers, and licks.

Instead Signalflow has given the listener a fresh introduction to their unique understated melodic passages. Inviting the listener to explore the songs as a place of diversity, where all are welcome.

Signalflow’s appreciations of country, folk, roots, funk, and rock all have a significant role to play. Don’t get the impression that they are selling out multiple styles to appeal to a greater audience; they have simply captured a regional Texas authenticity with out closing their minds to any one style, which may have influenced them along the way.

This is a band full of style, grace and intensity that somehow don’t forget to laugh at the silly art of songwriting. Some of the songs such as “Roslyn” and “Upside” almost poke fun at styles that must seem elementary to a band of this level. Signalflow is light-hearted and fun, yet remembers to rock your ass off.
